American Bulldogs Get off My Back

American Bulldogs arent these mean and horrible dogs. I wanted to point this important fact out so that ppl may consider getting American Bulldogs. I have one and he is the sweetest (clumbsyest XD) and most protective dog I have.

@l2gamerVazgen13 I would reccomend getting a puppy and being sure to socialize it with many different people and animals. (To avoid it possibly attacking or being scared of others.) If you are going to get an American bulldog, read up on the breed! This includes How tall it's going to get, temperment, weight, etc. Be sure to get him/her from a breeder! Then ask for papers for not only the pup, but the mother, father, their mother and father. This ensures that you will not get an inbred dog.

well said in the discription of this video, i have a pure white johnson amercian bull dog and hate the fact when we are out in parks other dog owners fink hes gona be vishous just because of the way he looks. hes the most playfull dog in the world and wouldnt harm a fly!!!!!! i love bull dogs!!

@londonerr8 i agee. i have a female Johnson and at 5 months she is 40 lbs and people mistake her for a pit. I tell them that she is only 1/2 as big as she is gonna get. People classify all "Bulldogs" as fighting dogs. each time i take my pup out i have to give a American Bulldog history lesson.

@dazzag I know what you mean. My dog is a half Lab, half AB and a lot of people think he's part PB. Don't get me wrong, I actually like PB's, but it does irk me when I hear someone say he looks like a pit. I also end up getting more pissed when I actually have to tell them he's a half AB and they don't even know what an AB is.

I love all dogs and have had many. I bought an American Bull Dog last year and I am so in love with her it is ridiculous. She spoons, watches tv with discerning taste--nat-geo, animal planet, etc., has gentle eating habits, loves kids, has a great sense of humor-- won't start a fight but will finish it to protect me or if some dog is just mean--i mean really. I wish my boyfriend could measure up. Thank you for loving the breed.

@MrROBBFROST - I get 'told' all the time that my AB is a pitt. Does my head in. I just say "yeah sure" now as fed up with people telling me what breed of dog I own :-) I have a Scott line so they do look a bit like a pitt as they are leaner than the johnson. I posted a video on here and got a load of people telling me it's a pitt and not an AB.....

hey i love your video i have a female american bulldog pure whiteher name is chloe n she is 10 months olds she is very friendly the dog in the video @ 0:10 is a spitting image of her. i love this breed of dogs. ppl are always judging thinking she is a pitbull but she ain't. i had to argue with some dumbass for 10 mins the other day saying she wasn't.
