Progressivism, at it's core, is a belief that the society should be centrally planned, although usually understood in the economic realm, it inevitably spreads to domestic issues, foreign policy, etc... Some of the things you stated = neo-con facism, others explicitly progressive facism (gun running to kill 2nd amend, avoiding foia b/c the state=god). Progressive/ Neocon statists have the same end game. btw, what HC cuts? O'care has sent HC spending sky high- u must not have paid att.
