i thought it was kind of mean of alex not to send out the chocolates because she promised paige she would and no matter what her principals were, paige's job depended on it.

It is dumb that Alex left, because Deanna Casaulce isn't even doing any work now. But I guess it doesn't matter since they probably would have removed her during Season 8 along with the other originals.
