Grover pioneered the way for your top solo sax players of today. I remember when I performed with Grover live at the Jazz workshop in Boston many, many moons ago. At that time he mentioned he never performed with a guitarist but was willing to try it out.. The crowd loved it. He liked the idea so much he subsequently added a rhythm / lead guitar player to his band. I'm grateful glad to have performed with Grover for one full set. We all miss the late great Grover Washington Jr..

@MsTexas73 I was deeply disappointed today at home when I could not find his album titled, "Live At The Bijou". I hope it's on CD.
