well check this out... this car is an 81...your jeep is a 91, thats 10 years newer. Now lets put a 2010 jeep vs the 370Z and lets see who wins!!

in 1972 the lamborghini miura was the fastest car ever doing 5 seconds 0-60mph while the new Bugatti does 0–62.1!!! mph 2.5 seconds!!!!!!!!!!

nope i wasn't and that is not really that fast anyway... i am getting my RX7 bridge ported and rebuilt, racing bearings .005 more clearance with a high flow oil pump, Aluminum flywheel, center force clutch kit, holley intake manifold with double pumper 650cfm carb, racing beat headers, no A/C, no P/S, no pulley driven fan (elect fans).....NO TURBO but it will be fast and I WILL POST A NICE VIDEO AS SOON AS I GET IT DONE (around march)

another thing they can easy go above the 110mph stock without a turbo, and if you drive 79 to 81, there are the slow years, meaning, lots of room for tweaking heads and block. and please for your motor! don't spin stock motor b4 red zone just cuz it can go, it doesn't mean its the peek power that in the 5000 range. If your an expert you know what I'm talking about;) "Nissan L28 was a forgiving motor! for toughs who feet are to the floor while the clutch is in, and don't know what there doing.

@CLAUDIOZ06 in fact the only cars to actually beat the 280 in its own class was a porche 911 and a BMW. it did 0 to 60 in 7.9 with the borg warner 5 speed which was faster than alot of ferraris and aston martins. better acceleration than ferraris and aston martins at a 10th of the price

It takes my F150 five damn minutes to get to 80. That is, if it feels like it.

I dont shift my zx till 6.25rpm, in the quarter I actually never leave third and hit 88mph.

1979-81 ZX's where slow since they where going for luxury markets then racing applications, 82-83 where the best of the 280ZX lines which made them tough competition for the Porsche Wagon 911 Turbo which was the "icon of fast imports" of the 1980s since their winnings of the 70s. Belive it or not Paul Nuemen raced these in the IMSA GTO races with Bob Sharp. Mine does 0-60 in 9.2 seconds according to my Rally and GPS timer.

68 Pontiac Cattalina 4 door: I got a soft spot for them since my first ten years of life was riding around in one.

70 Plymouth Superbird 440 with unlimited gas for life.
