"Hail Mary" is a single by 2Pac featuring Outlawz, taken from the album The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. It was written and recorded in only 30 minutes;[citation needed] many critics consider it to be a classic. The bells and dark sounds were typical features for Shakur's music during his "Makaveli" period. Critics also remark that this song contains his deepest verses and proved his ability to write powerful lyrics. The song peaked at #43 on the UK Singles chart.[citation needed] The song has appeared on five 2Pac CDs: 2Pac's Greatest Hits, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, Best of 2Pac Part 1: Thug, Nu-Mixx Klazzics, and Nu-Mixx Klazzics Vol. 2.
