My Brain

Animation of my brain on all three axes (Sagittal, Coronal, Transverse) and as a 3D model. Data was obtained from a 3 Tesla MRI scanner.

The bright object on my forehead is a Vitamin E marker to determine which side is right. The music is Mozart's Lacrimosa.

Very cool by the way, I assume you went to a hospital for this. Did a doctor need it or did you go in and ask for it?

I was a volunteer for a genetics study. They needed a healthy male as a control subject. In return for my time, they gave me a CD with the raw data. I wrote a computer program to render the animations.
