heymarsh: So you assume your typical 40-something doesn't know anything about Nirvana just b/c they don't think they're the last good band??? Folks that age were actually adults when Nivana came out. Where were YOU when Nirvana was doing its thing back in the day? There are tons of local bands all over America RIGHT NOW that will never make the radio or get a record contract that blow Nirvana out of the fucking water. My friend's 9 year old niece knows more about music than you apparently do.

all you 40-year-olds are the shit. im 16 and i know good music from every decade all the way back to the 1800's. i wish my unborn kids will appreciate TRUE music and not all the bull shit rap and other new age rock. the last good band that ever was......Nirvana. check them out.

I am 46 and was right there with Paul when this came out. I have been sober for 11 years now. I could really relate to your comments. Beautiful words and thoughts. You will never get old.
