These bells are very nice and I wouldn't mind living nearby. In fact, it is very unusual to find bells hung on Spanish yokes in North America. My point was that many people who would complain if these bells were on a church would not if they were on a winery. It was a reference to the growing intolerance of Christians in our culture.
I lived on Mission Hill, and you get so used to hearing them that you tend to not hear them anymore. Besides, they only ring like that once a day so it is not that annoying. They are actually very nice.
Why does a winery have bells, while so many American churches do not? Do you think the neighbors would complain about these bells if a church owned them?
i live just below them, this is 5pm bell ringing.....my kids will be running home at this time:)

It's a winery named Mission Hill in B.C. Canada. It's not a church.Very few house there.That's a nice winery.

this winery is on the top of a mountain overlooking okanagan lake. i live here and they are hard to hear from the nearest suburb
