Grandma Marijuana - Mae Nutt tells her Story of Compassion

Longtime advocate for Medical Cannabis and patient's rights, Mae Nutt saw that marijuana helped her son Keith endure Cancer treatment. He died in 1979, on the day that Michigan passed a Medical Cannabis law, after testimony by her family in Senate hearings.
Mae championed the cause of compassion for over 25 years, speaking at several conferences on Cannabis Therapeutics, including this one in Charlottesville, VA in May, 2004, hosted by Patients Out of Time. DVDs are available.

Wonderful woman, a great/good friend ... I was fellow 'hounding' Legislature in Lansing with her 30+ years ago ~ she called around 4AM day of bill signing to tell me Keith was gone, but KNEW what he had accomplished ,,, carried Legislature with cumulative 133-1 margin.

As to that 'rain of marijuana' she mentions at about the 8:00 mark ~ GUILTY ... that was the birth of Michigan's Green Cross, a clandestine network of medpot providers ~ were we the first Green Cross ?? I think so.

Praise God !!! God bless you with wisdom and oppertunity. I am fucked up ! "chronic phantom limb pain" I wrote her in 91 , my freedom fighter best friend has her responce letter framed on the wall. She was and is an Angel. What you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven. I am praying now for to make the ganja wine in Heaven to drink with Jesus and this special lady !!! Pray for her living relatives, this is the best way we can repay her.. 420 forever & ever !!!
