I dove here numerous times 30 years ago and took Scuba Instructors Course here. Much less picked-over than Catalina Island (Farnsworth Bank IS recommended) with clear visibility. Lots of seals...I missed the effin sharks...maybe a little Blue shark, big deal, whoopy.
I also used to Sail between San Clemente and Catalina...could be a wild stretch of water for a 24 foot sloop and a dumb-ass kid like me.

You mean 70 miles off of san diego. And its full of effin sharks.

went the back when i was in scouts...it was so clear. Went for about a week and scuba-dived, the gerabaldys are sweet. and we also swam with leopard sharks. CHEERS!!
