Singer/songwriter Asa was born in Paris but spent her childhood and adolescence in Lagos, Nigeria.

  • A blessing

  • You are definately right ! Asa is a true blend of India Arie and Tracy Chapman......i wish she could do songs with them ....that would be mindblowing!!!

  • Her album is beautiful, and the lyrics I can understand are all great. I really enjoy her music.

Her musical genius n talent reminds me of singers like Nneka, Ayo...Female Nigerian singers making with powerful music laced with deep lyrics and a serious message...I wish there were more artistes like these in the music industry!
