Love your stuff, very amazing demos, very inspiring.

@miikahweb You are certainly "in The Know", if you know what I mean. :D

Does Dynamic paint (for canvas surface type paint) currently support a transparent canvas? So that animated color added by brush would appear on an invisible surface? Couldn't do it by setting the canvas material to transparent.

Hey, could you please tell me how did you do the texture? I just started doing this kind of thing and my 'rain' is quite unreal. I can't put the texture in the plane, and it's so annoying! Maybe you could also make a tutorial, but I would be grateful if you just answered my question! :)

this is fake he just went outside and video taped it with his camera

Hmm... I should have thought of that.
It's been too long since I took my wave physics course ,you are right.

Tutorial! :D

@PRICK3 Ripples are waves and waves don't collide, waves interfere (adding or subtracting), which is exactly what is seen in the demo.

wow!

Wow! Looks amazing. =)
Looks quite amazing!
Though ,for adding more realism ,the ripples should collide between themselves.
Can you recommend of a good dynamic paint tutorial to get people started?

@PRICK3 Eh? In such small scale there is no such thing as colliding waves. As for interference, dynamic paint wave algorithm already does that.
