  • Not sure if I will be able to wait for it...

Tried the Super Tenere, very nice, try the Gs was fun, and a few mins later the GSA! Loved it& want it but dealer quote me $25K with 2 stock panners ( not even 3!)

As soon as I sell my HD Street Glide I will be ready. I'm not sure if I can wait or should for the Explorer. It looks like it will compete more w the GS than GSA !!!

    Cheers

  • @David6801 Wow, going from a Street Glide to an Adventure Tourer, that sounds radical! ;-)

  • Tiger Explorer or Ducati Multistrada???

  • @bonaytothebonay Kind of a chalk vs. cheese comparison, no?

  • @wbwvids LOL, yes and no. I live on the east coast and I would want the bike mainly for the road/hwy, maybe some gravle roads at times. I would spend most of my time in cities like Washington, DC - NYC and Philly stuck in heavy traffic or squeezing through it. I like the adventure bikes and sport tourer or cruiser would not be practical. I'm guessing the Ducati might be the best fit for me, but the of the Triumph caught my eye.

  • @bonaytothebonay I like the shaft drive on the Explorer... But, I'm having way too much fun with my DR650, it proves to me that bigger isn't always better!

  • Looks interesting but lets face it, it's a copy of the GS! I like my GS, will take a lot for me to give that bike up. It's a great al-rounder!

  • The next street monster and the next "no go offroad"

  • I just want to see someone ride this through the dirt FFS. Im considering buying one but I also want to know about the ride height and wheel base. Im 6ft 7in so I need a huge bike. Will this fit the bit I WANT TO KNOW!!!

  • Bike certainly looks the part and with a 139hp it´s considerably more powerful than the GS. Key parameter as I see it is handling.

The GS is one of the easiest bikes to ride and handles like a dream in the twisties. If this one does as well I´m prepared to switch. If not I will pass.

Lets face it. No one buys a GS for the looks.
