I don't get how the rubber bands fire... I've never seen your videos before in my life and I was going to make a gun with a clip that goes on top like yours for engineering project to make an invention or innovation, thought of my gun a few days ago and made a survey paper and now I find this! Good thing my is different enough, no trigger for ne thing so I am going to still go with my idea.

Certain aspects of the design are not explicitly revealed by the video. The key to this design is that each loaded rubber band serves to "retain" the next rubber band in the sequence. The stretched rubber bands sit in oposition to one another on the mechanism, but with a leverage differential such that each rubber band can only discharge after the previous rubber band has left the mechanism.

@Rubbergunner Thanks for the reply I do apreciate it! Are you ever going to show how its made? I would love it if you ven just pictures of the parts with dimensions (In the video) and then a live video of you assemblying it OR pictures of the parts going together with subtitles to explain and just use live video for complicated steps. Then I would have no choice but Subscribe to you.

@1TopGunPaintballer I have some CAD files that I'll try to incorporate into a new video soon, which show more explicitly how the mechanism works. It would be easier if I could just upload a few still images to my page, but I don't think youtube lets you do that.
