I must redouble learning Mandarin! An aging population is going to be a huge challenge to China, but the elders can pass along the lessons of the past to their children, and the folly of burning the wisdom of their great culture.
Cooperation with China is ill served by useful idiots like those who abetted Soviet Union. Businesses and nations need astute negotiators like Kissinger, who seek balance, not naive utopias.

It's surprising to see that the Economist's youtube videos are relatively much more balanced than the Economist's articles. That being said, you still have some way to go. It'll definitely help expand your viewer/reader base.

Oh god, 3:05 the Chinese conservatives in the Communist party are wiser than the progressive liberals.
Of course privatizing the Mao era rural land ownership creates slums in the cities due to the influx of peasants. This is a crucial point in keeping Socialism in China.
