That's funny. You use the same stones and sharpening techniques as myself.

@jambiyaSlaughter I know two youtubers, Pelahale and thecajunblaze, who have done videos after the ole ball n' chain as called it a night. That's some dedication right there lol

@TheNeedyCat I agree, it wouldn't work. However it would be fun to watch for entertainment purposes. Now maybe a letter opener, maybe...

No offense, John, I'm from the South but and when I hear you say "the BURRR" its sounds really country. :P

@1dducks Lol you should hear the people I live around. I have a very mild accent compared to them. A lot of people tell me they like my southern drawl though, I dunno. Haha :)

can you make a video of sharpening an actual butter knife from your kitchen, i know it may not be the best steel but it would be really interesting to see the results

@TheNeedyCat I doubt it would take an edge. The steel probably isn't heat treated, so it wouldn't be strong enough to form an apex. You could make some nice bevels, but since the steel isn't strong it wouldn't hold the apex essentially making it butter knife dull again. Haha

@jdavis882 just checked and mine say heat treated to 59 r/c, i guess i have butter knives capable of being non butter knives

@TheNeedyCat Oh, those would definitely be capable of taking an edge. I'm a college student, my flat ware came from wal-mart. Haha :)
