The Hulberts participated in the record-setting 2008 Rock River Thresheree. We believe it is the largest number of threshers (29) ever operated at one time. The steamers operated first for about a half an hour and then the switch to gas tractors was made to finish up. Our machine is the 1941McCormick-Deering 28" feeding into a bagger, next to the green wagon. Our crew consisted of Jason Hulbert and myself as operators and Tommy Griel pitching bundles. The Brisighella and Brueggemann families are bagging grain and operating our McCormick W9. Roary Esch and his family are operating the Nichols&Shepard steamer. Tom Griel is also reminiscing with Max Armstrong (WGN) about the"good old days".

  • Thanks for the positive comments. They were stills taken by friends and family members; I'm on the thresher. I created a slide show in iPhoto and then transferred them to iMovie. All on my Mac. You are absolutely right about panning; the slower the better. Higher resolution images are better, even if they are slower to load. I have other vids under muskego boy or jjrhulbert. Thanks for looking and good luck!

  • Excellent video! I just threw a few pictures together in a video myself. You've given me some great ideas, like don't pan so fast!
