An unidentified flying object (UFO) which almost collided with an airliner flying towards Heathrow airport could be mistaken for a storyline from science fiction. But the near miss is one of the accounts recorded in new files released by The National Archives.

See the videocast (below) with Dr David Clarke highlighting a selection of the unusual events.

These are from a series of 19 files released in October 2008 by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) that are now available to download from The National Archives website at www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ufos

  • you have to pay to download the files... it's called freedom of information act... what a joke, they don't even make it free to get the ones they've released!

  • Watch the Disclosure Project news conference. Experts have been trying for years to get the truth out. They want to swear an oath before Congress to share their stories and have thus far been denied.

  • it costs like £3.50 per file

  • A warehouse stacked from floor to ceiling and wall to wall full of documents containing information regarding the subject of "ufos and aliens" or whatever you want to call the subject. Yet theyre only giving out 160 files....

WOW...give a big hand to the british government! outstanding work!! **sarcastic cheering from a distance** Fobbing the world off with stupidity again.

Funny that ANY real evidence is kept within the "Private Sector" meaning it has no public jurisdiction.
