Its fresh and different and his own interpretation and style and very well played to boot.

The thumbs down brigade are a bit, ney, a lot narrow minded, pedal steel is still strong but new ways will keep it going in other directions other than country.

We tend to be very protective of it and want to hear it in only country music Why ?

All other instruments are allowed in all types of music why not the pedal steel guitar ?

I really like your version of this song. The sound is good too. It's a lot of good playing with bad sound here i think so this is nice to hear. Thank you. I have a version at youtube too. It's much of a standard and i'm a quite bad steelplayer but music is my life and I hope that it can be heard in the songs. Try mariazork here at youtube.
