Ironton's annual Memorial Day Parade is the longest continually occurring Memorial Day Parade in the country. The first parade was held in downtown Ironton in 1868 to honor those Union soldiers who gave their lives during the Civil War.

  • I was born in Ironton lived there for 19 years still come back now and then to visit like I said it used to be a nice little town then the crooks and welfare cases took over. Ironton High used to be the best school now it is a dump and allot of the educated hard working people have moved to the country. But thank you for proving my point you had to go right to the name calling just showing your true colors, so you enjoy all that Ironton has to offer.

  • @ecst07 i live in Ironton and it has a lot stupid !!!

  • This is about all Ironton has going for it now. Down town looks like a ghost town, high taxes, crooked politicians and police department. The decent people that used to live in Ironton have move away or out of the city limits sense it was taken over by welfare cases
