matt serra won because he was more aggressive it was quiet obvious, he was going and taking more shots while lytle was just defending and did a good job defending them but he wasn't that aggressive

Standing up it was a bore, but in the clinch Serra's body and his right eye were glowing red. Serra only got one good shot in and that was the spinning backfist. Lytle got several good punches in, espically in round 2 where he faked the bodyshot and got Serra across the jaw. This is the UFC's greatest flaw, bad officiating, bad referee decisions, and a fairly average (below-average even) talent pool.
