If you would like to know more about the top choice of vehicles to blow up a gas station, check out the 2006 Dodge Durango. Dodge refuses to acknowledge there is a problem with these vehicles and has specifically stated they will do nothing until the NHTSA recalls them.

Just imagine, what would happen if someone flicked a cigarette or a cell phone rang? Will you volunteer to stand near this truck and fuel your car while it's filling up?

Note: 52% of all 2004-2008 Dodge Durangos & Chrysler Aspens do this. That's over 400,000 of them on the road just itching to send a gas station up in a split second.

  • Google it, see how many are out there. Happens on every fill up, not just at this station, but all stations. Do you work for Dodge or Chrysler?

  • My dad works for dodge and there is a recall for it and fix.

  • I have a 2007 Durango that does the same darn thing. Never again will I buy Dodge/Chrysler.

  • I work at The Chrysler Customer Assistance Center. Any questions, feel free to inbox me.

  • mine does the same thing, to the guy that said its the pump your the fucking moron! if you knew wtf you were talking about instead of assume hundreds of thousands of people were stupid, maybe you'd be able to help us

  • I have this problem every time I fill up and it pisses me off so much one reason I'll never buy another Chrysler product!

  • Is this for all models and engines for the 2006 Durango?

  • We have an 06 Durango and This happens EVERY TIME. Its very annoying

  • Happens to my wife's '06 every time we fill up, unless we stop it early. We have been to the dealer and they told us it was part of the evap system that had colapsed. needed to replace fuel tank because they couldn't get the lines off. over $700 so told them to pound sand. now going to another dealer to see if they will do something.

  • The "Chrysler" in your handle says enough, and I think it's been explained that only a large percentage of them do this, not all of them. Your little anecdotal evidence is completely irrelevant.

How would the pump make it leak from under the wheel well anyway?

    Let's get serious here.
