@DeficatingBum 1) i'm a service member and a veteran of OEF 2009-2010, 2) Cogan put on this whole music video bullshit back in the late 80's to the song "I am a real American" (it was a rip on the Soviets kind of like what Rockie did). That's what I was referring to. 3) The story I heard was that nick was drunk and street racing during the accident. Now I know what really happened and I don't hold anything against the kid other than him and his dad saying "He had it coming." during a phone call

All these pisswipes who hate on Hogan, should try to understand what actually happened that day. Nick Hogan wasn't drunk and he wasn't racing either. The car was going between 40 and 60 MpH on a 40 MpH road. It hit a puddle and autoplaned. It as only going about 30 MpH when it hit the tree. The car just looked so mangled because the cops had used The Jaws Of Life, not to mention saws, to get Nick and John out. And shouldn't John, the responsible adult and marine, have been wearing a seat belt?

hogan never wrote the song I am a real American,Rick Derringer did and at first it was for the us express,but hogan grap it and the rest is history.
