I. M. Meen - Level 35: Library

In this level, we find Writewell's Book, the strongest weapon in the game. It can kill any enemy in one hit and has unlimited uses. So there's no reason to keep those other weapons anymore.
Well, there is a rather strange glitch... if you're moving forward while attacking with the book, the blast may hit and damage you. This can happen with wands as well, but it seems to happen a lot more often with the book for some reason.

What does the Meen button do? Start a cutscene? I've never seen it used in any video.
