Why is a supposed Libertarian so insistent on total government monopoly over cannabis? Why doesn't Jim Gray respect the positive nature of the free market? His proposed solution to cannabis prohibition falls far short of anything constituting legalisation, and would fail to solve many of the drug war's ugliest flaws. Libertarian? Yeah right.
I bet he made a LOT of money locking addicts away when he was a judge...

It is not meant to work, it is meant to criminalize large portions of the people, just another tool in taking as much of your civil liberties away in order to control you.
They don't care about you or your health, just your tax dollars.
