OK, there's loads of videos around of people casually and easily skimming around beaches and lakes on this amazing looking water vehicle. So uh, why do I sink Every. Single. Time. I use it? First one with the correct answer (as proven by me not immediately sinking) wins \o/ 1000 YouTube points*!!!!! \o/ Help me out here people!

  • Yeah, I got eventually and you were right Fabio. Slower, stronger downward pushes and keep leaning forward. Thanks for the advice. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather to get back out again soon!

  • Any luck with this yet? Love the music... xx

  • ur trying to go way to fast try longer slower bounces

  • Stay on your toes!

  • The dock you are launching from is a little low. At the dock I use I have the option of 1' or 1.5' above the water. Launching from 1.5' believe it or not works much better. Also try pushing off harder and letting it glide for about 5' before pumping.

  • It is not easy but it is a matter of weight distribution. Try to keep your belly button ahead of a vertical line from the front of the foot pads. Everyone starting out, me included, puts their weight too far back and that puts on the brakes in an instant.
