It's too late for Scarlett to Apologize

Pop song + classic movie = YES!
When I heard "Apologize" by Timbaland for the first time, this movie immediately popped into my head! Basically, it's about Rhett being done with all the crap Scarlett's dished him out by the end of GWTW. I love her, but she had it coming. It was too late to apologize.

Yeah when I first heard this song I thought of Rhett & Scarlett. Yeah we blame Scarlett, but I also blame Rhett, how was she supposed to act when he always said the opposite of what he felt.

As sad as it might sound I don´t think they ever got together again...They were both too studdborn and their relationship was a battle where nobody wins all along. I think Rhett realizes that in the end and he truly meant what he said. It was childish from Scalett not to see their story had come to ashes and Rhett wasn´t that bright either spending the whole time trying to bend Scarlett in something she wasn´t deep down(maybe more like Melly)....Their relationship was doomed before starts.

@DarkWingsAscending - that is true but Ashley was married to Melanie all the time so was never available. Rhett won't get married again or probably dare to love again - but I think he still loves Scarlett at the end - just doesn't want to get hurt. And in their final scene together, Ashley's name pops up - so maybe he thinks that she is not truly over him. I like to think they did get back together. And remember, Rhett was too much of a coward to ever tell her that he loved her.

i think that if she pursues him like she says she's going to in the end, then they'll end up together. if he knows that she truly loves him, he'll take her back. she says shes going to fight for him and that woman gets what she wants!
