This Is Goodbye 01x03 (A Lolena Story)

Sorry for the delay again, I'm just so busy with end of the tri stuff.

I walked toward them slowly, but Sterling jogged. Of course he did, it was Sterling.

When I got there, Sterling had just started talking. "Hey, ladies." he said, winking. "Haven't talked to you in a while." I wish I was as much as a flirt as Sterling. He got all the girls. I was still learning in the flirting game.

Now was a good time to practice.

The lighter brunette rolled her eyes. "You haven't even talked to us before." she snapped. The dark haired one just glared, not saying anything, yet her glare said a lot.

"Well, then," I said slowly with a grin. "Let's get to know each other. My names Logan, and this is-" I was gesturing to Sterling when the darker haired one cut me off.

"We know who you are." she retorted, rolling her chocolate colored eyes.

"Ah, but we don't know who you are. Well, I've definetly seen you before, how could I forget two beauties? But I don't think I ever caught your names." Sterling drawled.

"Miley," The lighter brunette gestured to herself. "And Selena." she said, waving her hand at the dark haired one. Her tone suggested we were too stupid to understand.

Selena, no doubt I wouldn't forget that name. Or this girl.

"Don't hear those names much." I said, gazing at Selena. "I like 'em."

"Yeah?" Selena said, raising an eyebrow. "Well, I've heard Logan plenty, and frankly, I'm kind of sick of it."

I bit my bottom lip. Okay, I may not have as much experience at Sterling, but I knew that was not what she was supposed to say.

Sterling seemed unfazed by the comment. "You don't hear Sterling much, though."

This time, Miley spoke. "When I hear Sterling, I think of the bank. Which isn't a good thing."

He winked again. "Well, you can borrow money, or anything, from me whenever you want."

Selena rolled her eyes, making a sound of disgust in the back of her throat. I chuckled slightly. "So, what do you say we do something later?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at Selena and trying to look as charming as possible.

She stepped toward me, and I was shocked at the sudden closeness. She leaned toward me as if she was going to kiss me, but instead, I found her mouth near my ear. "In you dreams." she whispered before pulling away. She and Miley walked away without even glancing back.

Sterling nudged me with a smirk, but I didn't take my eyes off of Selena's disappearing figure. "Damn, dude, you got rejected." he said, drawing out the vowels of rejected.

I elbowed him hard in the gut, glaring at him. "Shut the hell up, so did you."

He held his hands up. "Fair enough."

I looked back toward where I had last seen Selena, but she was gone. I felt this strange need to talk to her again, and some time soon.
