  • Great Prof, Berlitz "think and talk " series are on the same level of Assimil or they are only an introduction?

  • @Francydpp I suppose you can think of the Berlitz Think and Talk as an introduction compared to Assimil, for Assimil generally covers most grammatical structures and gives you more vocabulary by the end of the manual, but the Berlitz are not "only" an introduction - that is, they take you farther, and give you more, than most "introductory" courses. Also, they are more clearly structured and more amusing / interesting to work through.

  • when I go into boarders or barns and noble, I cannot find such books, where have you obtained these books ?

  • You can find them in a language learning resource center that has collected and preserved them. In order to purchase them, you have to hunt in used bookstores and auctions.

  • So basically the self teaching language course is best, then the self-teacher and then and think and talk lines?

  • You think this guy's not heard or dealt with pimsleur. Too much English :)

  • you should do one on the pimsleur language method i think you're going to find very interesting
