excellent points, I agree, this attitude of prayer is wide spread and as such we have created a mess of this world and now do not know what to do. Not sure if you are aware of the desteni group that has similar perspective on this, and also propose as a solution, an "Equal Money System" seeing how money is a 'practical point" which cause so much abuse. I mean , I am certain many pray for money - So what desteni do is rather than pray, actually design a system so that all have money. Cool Vid

So true, prayer does not work. If it does then it is fucked up because I have heared people say that God answered their prayer to make more money or find their partner - but on the other hand people starving for food get nothing. Wtf does that say about gods priorities. The best we can do, is to direct ourselves at all times in self honesty.

Thanks for speaking out. Problems and tragedies should make us have a look at real solutions and not making us exercise all kinds of excuses and forms of escapism and denial just to feel better about ourselves. Common sense stuff.

I agree we should do more to help those who are troubled rather than "Prayer" if God wasn't such a damn piece of crap then we would have the starving being helped, but nope helping serial killers and getting people rich is more important than helping those who need it yeah today's education is years behind.

A little long winded, but to state the obvious, you are correct: prayers do not work. Why? Because NO ONE IS LISTENING! The real mystery to me is why so many people think prayers do work. Part of the answer is the fact that children are indoctrinated from day one, but still, you would think a greater percentage of them would eventually wake up. They don't!
