@slugnbozo i work at a kfc. the only reason theyre soggy is because usually theyre bought at a time where theyve been sitting in the chip fryer for a while. if youre willing to wait an extra 3 minutes they can cook you a fresh batch, and ask for extra seasoning as well. bonus: it doesnt cost anything

I wasn't the original commenter, but I go to KFC maybe once a week or two and get the Doublcious Sandwich with wedges and a pepsi. We have 2 KFC's in my town, at one KFC the wedges are small, crunchy, and seasoned very slightly and are DELICIOUS for fast food. The other KFC seems to have very big soggy mushy ones, but it varies sometimes. So all in all, sometimes, they are amazing, other times, I just leave them in the bag :\

They don't have fries (or as Australians call them "chips") in American KFC's. They have potato wedges though.

@ThompsonJJ Are the wedges any good? To be honest, the Australian KFC chips are pretty ordinary IMO. They're usually a bit soggy and under-seasoned.

i know in american version they call it chicken and fries then outside the us and canada they call the fries chips instead.

@cameron20101000 Yeah, in Australia we call them "chips". And although McDonalds officially call them "fries" over here, most people just call them "chips" at the counter. Which begs the question: Do Americans eat Fish N Chips? And if so, what do they call them? Fish N Fries?
