a chord solo by wes is almost always one of the first things that comes to mind when people ask me about jazz guitar... it's just one of those signature sounds and images for me when i think of this artform

Thanks for posting this. It was on once before but had been removed.I feel very strongly that this session was entirely imprompu. Wes improvation skills are just overwhelming.He was such a fine player he could play to perfection any music idea he thought of
