Ever notice how fashion models are more often portrayed lying on their backs with legs open, rather than standing and participating in some productive way to make the world better? When will equality rather powerlessness appear sexy? Check out Media Watch, a non-profit organization working to challenge racism, sexism and the growing mounds of glamorized violence.

  • you know... I feel that we need to debunk this myth that their aren't feminists that want female superiority, to label men as obsolete and care nothing for actual equality. to deny this problem will just allow the problem to remain and impede real progress. so I say we start a YT shit-list that gathers the names of all self proclaimed feminists who believe this crap along with some of their quotes and put them on that list. then the REAL feminists will have their culprits.

  • God forbid that women get paid millions of dollars for getting dressed and laying down. These poor women however will they survive. How about you make a video about real equality. When it comes to modeling men make a lot less than women. Where are the equal pay nazis when it comes to discrimination against men. Make a video about how male models do the same work as female models for ten percent of the pay.

  • @johnman1911 that is because ua ll men ogle at women's magazines and buy them to fap. ok? if u are so interested in male models then go buy their stuffs. whoever is famous will get more money. same goes for Hollywood..not all actors are paid same. its all based on popularity and demand in modelling and acting sectors.plz dont bring such nonsense logic

  • @nigen Mindlessly regurgitated irrelevant copypasta tripe, like I said.

  • @NotADood

well given that this post has been up for 2 months, and every now and then circulated to a video where the subject matter of the comments is quite relevant to the substance of this post, I wouldn't say it is here mindlessly. its a shout out for "feminists" to take a good look at what they define as feminism and then look at themselves, and if they are truly following it.

  • @nigen Mindlessly regurgitated irrelevant tripe is the opposite of subjective.

  • @NotADood if I were I bot I wouldn't write a subjective response now would I?

  • @nigen Is that a comment you just copypaste into every comment section where feminism is mentioned? Because it's so hackneyed and it's totally irrelevant to the video you're commenting on. Are you a bot?

  • @MarieFace

the question is, why do the media get more power over the perspectives of the children than the parents? the family unit has change and sadly has become weaker... to any that say that the family is not necessary needs to account for the media's strength of influence over that of the parents.

  • @johnman1911

Because it gives young girls the wrong idea about how women are "supposed" to look; which causes them to have body image issues and then eating disorders. That's why I care.

  • @MarieFace If you are truly proud of your curves why are you worried about what models look like?
