LiftJET model. Short-range transmitter gives short flights but proves the LiftJET SAFE Vertical Take-Off and Landing concept--even when a high-performance, high-speed rigid wing is used. Notice, about 1/3rd of the way, the tail obstructs the transmitter beam and the model momentarily loses power, then stabilizes and flies straight and level. Work has started on a full-size prototype ultralight, which for testing purposes will be mounted with an extremely stable--but slow-flying--'deltoid' wing. The LiftJET "Safety Flyer" US Patent No. US200110163198 was issued on July7, 2011.
