news paper, that had the front page story of how young Tania Szabo went to collect her mothers award from buckingham palace. My grandma's parents liked the name Tanis. But in the paper it was "Tanya" Not Tania. So my great auntie was called Tanya, after that little girl. And only yesterday did she find out who she was named after. And why. Please if ur ever in Jersey, go see the war tunnels. It's an incredible experience that your missing out on if you don't go!!! xoxo :))

@Biankito They have made a movie, it's called Carve Her Name With Pride, u have to get it, it's all about her, it's classed as one of the best war films, its my fave, cant live with out it!

Has anyone ever seen Carve her name with pride, it's basically all about her and her life being a spy, shes played by Virginia McKenna. You should see it. Her name when she was in France was Coreen, c the movie, it's a must have!!!!

The story of Violette Szabo makes you realise the sacrafices that were made to ensure our freedom.How can such a person ever be forgotten ? I only hope that I am worthy enough to read that story so movingly put on the video.
