  • do you ever pet the lion, if so, does it bite? Has it ever gone mad and disobeys?

  • Yes we pet and hug the lion, he is extermely sweet good natured boy.

  • Grrr i hate idiots like you. The day he'll rip your face off, we'll all be discussing it on youtube.

  • Uh, no you won't. You don't often hear about people doing it right and when you do you get upset. Why?

  • Wow.. That's an interesting pastime. Aren't you afraid that the lion might turn on you at any given moment?

  • We respect the lion, but we don't fear him, fear makes you weak.

  • And you accuse others of grandstanding? Seriously? What do you think this is? Simulating some sort of bizarre training session in which you don't actually capture any trained behaviors for the camera isn't grandstanding? And by the way, your lion is overweight. If that isn't mistreatment I don't know what is.

  • i betchya she gets killed by that same fuckin lion one day

  • He's like a dog...a big...menacing...dangerous, and probably terrifying dog. o_o

  • thats one lazy lion

  • @REXANOEXOTICS But you are weak! Doesn't matter how you feel. The lion will do what it wants no matter.

  • @REXANOEXOTICS FEAR IS THE PATH TO THE DARK SIDE!!! Fear leads to anger... Anger leads to hate... Hate leads to suffering...

    (I just had to.)

  • @PUNKem733 Yes but Richardson is also attempting to set up a wildlife reserve in africa. It also states on his web page he does not keep any 'exotics' as 'pets' but has two normal dogs. He is a animal behaviorist and zoologist by profession and despite clips of him showing a large interest in breeding white lions, he shows GENUINE concern for conservation and does not advocate domestication. Somehow I don't see him wasting time trying to teach a lion how to sit.

  • @gabehDUH giving birth, they rejoin the pride after the cubs have strengthened up a bit.

  • @gabehDUH It's a chance these people are willing to take. I've known of trainers that have worked with an assortment of big cats, bears for over 40 years, so it seems like respecting them, and treating them right goes a long way. Look up Kevin Richardson. Over 20 years of being around lions, and nothing. He's had a lioness accept him to the point where she'd offer him her newborn cubs. They won't even allow any pride member anywhere near a newborn, s they usually hide away from the pride after..
