What version of blues junior do you have? Anyway, I find it weird that people say it is not good for metal, but I found that, at least the 96 version, it's dark enough for metal.

Are you plugged straight into the amp or are you using effects to get that tone from the Blues Junior? If it's just guitar straight into amp, what kind of pickups are in your guitar? Thanks!

It is just the guitar straight into the amp, the pickups are seymour duncan jb in bridge cool rail in middle and paf 59 in the neck.
