@LoneKook dont know. I do know he lost one in a trailor accedent in 66 though going to a race track.dont know if it was the white 66 Nova or the red one. I have seen the 72 Vega, plus his Monza, and both of his Camaros. Be nice to see the 66 Nova. I thought the Nova would be in the Don Garlits shop, but it wasnt it was his Monza.
@LoneKook sure did. A small journal 2 bolt main block. i have a video of it going a 11.70 at 117 mph. not real fast but real real good for what it was in 1966. I owned a 66 Nova and always wondered about what was inside jenkins motor of that L79.
He's no grump! I went to school at phelps in malvern pa. in 1966-67.Followed the sweet sound of open hedders and met this man,A TRUE GENTLEMAN!! A GREAT RACER!!
"Billy, your one of my racing heros, but I think you need to talk about your 'unsung heros',,,,my uncle "Kenny Dondero" and Larry Lombardo" and let "Ronnie Sox" know who was the "Quick Shift" of the 70's.
