Went to see Mr. Kurzweil speak tonight at MIT. He is healthy ad healthy. It was highly enjoyable. Matt from DIYBio Boston was there, as well as Grant from the Boston Transhumanist Group, John Cumbers from Brown University also attended. It was good to see a strong DIY Bio presence at the lecture.

I didn't get to ask Mr. Kurzweil even .001% of the questions I wanted to ask but I did ind out that his two movies will be released at the end of this year.

Good stuff!

  • Holy sh!t.

Yes I am self satisfied. I'm really glad I saw Kurzweil speak, and my question was thought provoking.

  • The adidas dude is fucking genius. He owned!

  • yeesh

  • i would answer his question with a YES there is technology that is related to the golden ratio. quantum computers for example with give you the correct answers to complex equations faster then classical computers. same thing with golden ratio. because you are working the problem backwards you see. It starts off with the premiss of whatever the final outcome, that it will be a mutualy benificial(positive)a win win situation.
