stealth bomber hit and run # 10

situation = picking off an uncloaked stealth bomber underneath their noses.

target = manticore stealth bomber

target's mindset = feels safe that his buddies are around him and has no idea i was sitting cloaked for a while monitoring the camp for soft targets.

target's actions = foolishly staying uncloaked and idle.

result;

1] target is in his pod seconds after i decloak and initiate the alpha-strike sequence.

2] after the kill i decided to play it safe and warped out right away. i probably had something to do in real life so off i was.

Two things I can see happening.

1. You jump through the gate, and get cloaked, then, while still cloaked, activate your cloak module. Campers are none the wiser. Unlikely.

2. You jump through the gate and get cloaked, then align somewhere, or doubleclick in space, then activate your cloak, quicksharp. Fairly safe, and campers get annoyed at not being able to find you. Likely.

when you jump into a new system via gate can you stay cloaked and move around or do you have to move and cloak again?
