I cant believe not a single person has not picked up on the fact... that once ths whipped cream mixture of beeswax and olive oil has set it will become solid.... thats the nature of beeswax unless it is muxed with many other ingredients. And why be such a cheap skate and use borax there are other alternatives to bind the ingredients together.

@katyellow The FDA are liars. Borax is toxic. Aspartame is toxic. Thousands of things approved by the FDA are. It's all about money. Period. Anyway, there are other emulsifiers like lecithin that work just as well as borax and beeswax. For your own sake, please research everything before you put yourself at risk.

borax/sodium borate is safe in concentrations under 5% by volume for infant skin, and is also used in food products approved by the FDA. this recipe is far less than 5% borax. many commercial skin care brands use borax in their products.
also, boric acid is VERY different from borax.

@rj2837 >>> Boric ACID is used to kill ants and roaches. Please be properly informed, and please..be kind ..consider your comments and wording b4 you hit post.

borax and beeswax on the face?!?!?! yeah well, people should understand that once the chemicals combine and react they stop being borax and beeswax and completely turn into something harmless... same as NaOH (lye) in soapmaking...

There is no way I would this womans recipe because it contains Borax. It is used it to kill ants and roaches. Oh yeah, something I want on my skin.
Borax = Sodium Borate rated pretty high in the toxicity scale at Cosmetic Safety Database. I will skip that ingredient.
