University of Minnesota School of Public Health professor Jean Abraham explains how the costs of health care in the United States are rising at extreme levels and how health care reform should be able to not only help control the costs of health care. Abraham, who spent time in Washington D.C. advising on health care reform, discusses how savings and efficiencies in Medicare could help make the program more effective and how new sources of tax revenue could help insure more people in the United States.

This is not about slowing the cost of health care - rather - it's about explaining what the current health bill - under consideration - was going to do.
