I'm reuploading with a new backing track that doesn't have the solo so you can hear which is me much better.

It's not great. In fact, I'm not even posting to show off. I want judgement and advice. I'm not a great guitarist and I need some help.

In case you're wondering, the guitar is a Carlo Robelli Stratocaster copy. I don't know much more than that. I do know that the case that came with it had a "Limp Bizkit" patch on it. I don't know if that's related. It's being run through a Marshall MG15CDR

  • Hey man... I think you're in the right way to play this song. However, I would practice a more bends, in this song particularly bends well done are crucial to make it sounds good. Try to learn solos from gun's and roses (knocking on the heavens door), red hot chilli peppers (californication), ac dc (back in black) and I'm sure you will improve your bends a lot!!!

Hope you don't mind about this, as you wrote you'd like some advice, I was honest. check my channel too!!

  • @delimabs I don't mind at all; this is exactly what I was hoping for. My only issue is that I'm not getting more responses.

Thank you for the advice, I'll see how it works for me.

  • I also have a Carlo Robelli Strat. Its sunburst from 1975. My first guitar, go it from my unkle who never learned. I found it digging thru his closet. Mine has a maple neck though. I guessing yours is newer. I also have a C.R. Precision bass copy from 98. That has a rose wood neck. They both sound great to me. Listen to the guy below and listen to all of Jimmy Page music....even from the 60's! Watch your bends.....youre not hit the right notes on those bend up! Listen always! -cheers

  • My advice is, stop play keyboards, stop playing classical music, and listen to a lot of Led Zeppelin. Thats how I became good at guitar. My style at least.
