If you get hit in the side while driving a Vectra B - You die! There's absolutely no safety in the side of the car. Frontal crash, yes it's OK for a car that age, but from the side, it's horrible. Please don't call this a safe car

@EvanFans what year is this? around 1995-2000? And it is good that it absorbed energy but when the drivers door is opening like that it's gone to far, but what can u ask for a such old car? it is like 15-10 years old

I've been driving an 2000 Vauxhall Vectra 1.6 and it's a fantastic family car! Not very powerful, but that's not important where I live.

Vectra b on NCAP crash test was better than a BMW E36,Mercedes C,Audi A4,Rover 600,Peugeot 406,Citroen Xantia & Sabb 900 from that time on test in 1997! Resembling or a little better result then Vectra B had Ford Mondeo,Nissan Primera,WV Passat & Renault Laguna! Volvo beat them all & and get 4 stars(1st & only one)! Test were conducted in Transport Reserch Laboratory in Berkshire.

Opel Vectra B is a safe car...It might look like the car was really damaged,and the front was completely destroyed,but that absorbed energy,which is a safety feature,for those who dont know...
