  • I grow a lot of veggies myself, but I assure you that if worse came to worse there is noway you could sustain yourself on just a small plot of garden. Maybe with canning and preserving as we all do ( or most gardeners do ). I think community gardens will be the way to go when it comes to that. Everyone should know how to garden, most are just to lazy to try.

  • @justmom66

Yes I agree with you but we don't have enough community gardens and and many people are too lazy to try or busy or what ever. However I also think that the party is now over and sensible governments should be planning to move back to local economies but so far nothing much is happening....

    Cheers

  • Very good!! I'm glad you are doing this. I think people better start doing this. People can easily have a container garden if they live in the city or a victory garden. If you live out in the country, grow as much as possible!! Grocery stores would be empty within a few days if there is a panic.

  • @TruthLightSeeker

Depression is when you are out of work.

Recession is when your neighbour is out .

of work. Actually the economic destruction is still taking place

  • Its sick how many people can't see whats coming or refuse to prepare....wtf?

    back to the basics!!

  • Cheers

  • "If accepted [S 510] would preclude the public's right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one's choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God''. 8-6-2010
