This truly was the top, the pinnacle of epicness and awesomeness and ineffable greatness. FF6 is the best, technically, but somehow FF4 is the real best. It contains the core essense of Final Fantasy.

Im not gonna lie when I first heard this song i might've been 4 years old now, I'm 17 now... This FF was one of my favorites Idk why O yea its because it was so fun even for me being 4 years old not even knowing how to play... Just watching my brother play it and listening to this song made me so happy. Now being 17 I can play it realizing even at 4 I had very good taste in video games. To get to the point... 13 years later I love this game.

this FF game is the one I've beaten the most, probably because it moves so quickly (and is much shorter than all the subsequent FF games). Every song on the soundtrack is top notch as well.
P.S. whatever happened to FF games being full of likable and heroic characters? SE really needs to take a few notes from this game for the next FF.

Final Fantasy 2 was my first RPG, I'll never forget this game. I rented from my local video store as a young Jr. High kid. This game is by far the best Final Fantasy game I've ever played. I have so many memories of this game. Listening to this music makes me cry tears of joy and am now 28 years old. Wow...how time flies. I love this game so much :)
