the surrounding wells must still have some damn good bottom hole pressure if there is still seeps

Wow. That is not an oil seep. That is an entire CREEK of oil!
Is this one on private land? Or is it accessible to the general public somehow?
I've always wanted to own a small jar of natural crude. This looks like a good place to get some.

allways nice to see oil in its native habitat! keep the video away from D.O.G.,fish & game HA,HA,HA!

Nice video. Poor mother nature probably has a DNR fine coming for spilling all that oil.
-
Heh. Just the fact that you put "natural" and "oil" in the same sentence.

I am surprised to see this wastage of oil.
It's such a valuable unrenewable commodity

Problem with retrieving seep oil is you become responsible for compliance requirements that are impossible to meet. I once worked for a company that worked to keep seeps from flowing to the ocean. For their efforts they were endlessly harassed . They had to truck the oil hours away as the county would not allow processing of it in their nearby facility.

Seeping out of the ground.
Although many wells have been drilled in this area over the last 100 years, oil still continues to bubble up.
