    “I promise you, within ten to 15 years, you will have computers which are much smarter than you, with better emotional capability, better sensory capability, much better IQ, better storage, better everything else, and the only thing you'll be worried about is how the hell do I connect to this computer. And you will have to do that connection, otherwise that computer will say 'you are now my employee..."

    Absolutely fascinating. As he says in the Q&A after his presentation, if we don't wipe out all humanity before technology can begin to recreate the nature we've trashed, all these advances are possible, and human consciousness will never have to die.
