What you have there is a primitive diode (crystals), an antenna (meter wires), and a high impedance load (meter). The minute voltage you are seeing on the meter is energy from radio and possibly AC fields of your house wiring. And it's a minuscule amount of energy. What you have there is an untuned crystal radio circuit, nothing more.
